Becoming Thin… And Staying That Way

My Life Before, During & After Weight Loss Surgery

My baby sister, Kirsten, got married on Saturday, June 1st, 2002. I was her Matron of Honor. I’ve put a few of the photos that I was in on this website so that those following my weight loss could see. It made such a difference in my life to be in her wedding at a normal weight rather than when I was morbidly obese.

My husband took this goofy photo.

The morning of the wedding at the beauty parlor. The five-year-old Flower Girl took this one.

With my Hair Dresser and dear family friend, Willa Kaye. What an amazing job she did! (Even though my hair is thin now, she made me look like I had TONS of it!) She works at Salon Uffizi in Austin, TX.

Another photo taken by the Flower Girl.

The girls’ side of the Wedding Party.

Here’s a better photo of the girls.

I wanted a picture of the back of my hair. :)
