Holy Moly! Holy Moly! Holy Moly! I can not believe this! I’M PREGNANT!!!
This is a complete and utter MIRACLE!!! We’ve battled with infertility for seven years. And now, we go on a cruise, and voila! Miracles happen. Unbelievable. We’re both very much in shock right now. Everyone said it would happen when we least expected it. We didn’t believe them until now. This is a total surprise! The very first month I went off the pill we got pregnant. Holy Moly!
So on a calmer note… we’re about 5 weeks along. Still very early. Normally you’re not supposed to say anything until 12 weeks, but we just couldn’t hold it in. We’re very cautiously optimistic at this point. I have a third blood test next Monday to make sure my pregnancy hormones are doubling every 48 hours. Then three weeks from now we’ll have an ultrasound to make sure there’s a heartbeat and everything’s progressing normally. If all goes well, the baby will be due February 10th! Wow.
So needless to say, I’m not trying to lose anymore weight. I’m now eating five meals a day instead of three. Dr. Wongsa didn’t want me to lose anymore anyway, so that’s OK. I’ll keep everyone posted as I get more news.
