I’ve now lost 58 pounds! I wanted to hit this goal by October 9th, so now I’m 15 days behind. Today I got rid of my size 18/20 clothes. I am now wearing a size 14/16!! I weigh 194 pounds. My next goal is to lose another 15 pounds by November 27th. I think I can do it. I’m working out quite a bit now that I don’t have to work anymore. Blessing in disguise?

Well, it’s happened. I’ve been laid off. I am unemployed. Practically the whole company is gone now.

If you know of anyone who is in need of web development work, please let me know. I’m willing to do freelance work, contract work, whatever… I should have my resume ready within the next week.

In my opinion, One-A-Day chewables and Flinstones Complete chewables taste TERRIBLE!!! I recommend Flinstones Plus Iron. Dr. Wongsa has me on 4 of these a day, since I still menstruate. The lady next to me in the hospital had already gone through menopause, so he has her on 2 a day. I actually like taking these vitamins in the morning. It’s like dessert! Mmmmm…

HELP! I just swallowed a sunflower seed whole. With the shell and all. Is it gonna get stuck? Should I make myself throw-up? Or should I drink water?

UPDATE: As soon as I posted the message, I found Blaze on Instant Messenger and she advised me to call my surgeon’s office. First off, they asked me why I was eating sunflower seeds with the shells. I didn’t mean to swallow it whole!! :) I like them in the shell because they take me so long to eat them. They said it’d be better to get the ones out of the shells so I don’t have the issue of swallowing one whole. (I got too brave and had a whole bunch in my mouth to shell one at a time and I think it was too many.) Anywho… they said that I should drink a lot of water and it would probably wash through and come out in the end the same way it entered since I’m 9 weeks post-op and the swelling has gone down. They said that if it was stuck, the water would make me feel EXTREMELY full and I would have the urge to throw-up. Well, I’m here to say, it’s either floating in my tiny pouch forever, or it has passed, because I feel fine.

That was scary, though.
