Becoming Thin… And Staying That Way

I had bloodwork done at 5 weeks post-op…. I got the results today.

My cholesterol before surgery was 263… now it’s 203!!!!!!!!! Woo! Hoo! (Normal is 140-200) I’m almost in the normal range!

Everything else came back normal… B-12, Folic Acid, etc. etc.

But my biliruben was slightly increased. So in light of my online support groups’ recent conversations about jaundice, I’m going to be asking everyone if I look yellow. But my PCP thinks it is just due to my recent surgery and it will correct itself. I’ll ask for my surgeon’s opinion at my 6 week post-op appt on Monday.

I’ve lost 37 pounds… 80 to go…
