follow-up on the verdict
Well… Ruth, Dr. Wongsa’s nurse, called me back today and said that my insurance wants even more information about support I will receive after the surgery. She said she is going to type up more information for them and she thinks it will be taken care of… since she had a patient with the same insurance get approved a little while ago.
So……………………… It wasn’t like they really denied me… they just set it to “denied” until they get the info to review again.
I haven’t given up yet.

They denied me… and won’t tell me why. “A letter is in the mail.”
How is it that an insurance policy can have NO EXCLUSION… The surgery is a covered benefit!!!… I meet all the criteria… and they still deny????????
Calling the Insurance company is like a crap shoot. One time you call and you get someone who knows what they’re doing… the next time you call and nobody knows anything about insurance.
I was told that there’d be a decision by today & to call today… after being transferred around today, they say there’s no decision listed and to call back tomorrow.
I guess I’ll just keep calling everyday until I know.
My insurance said they will have a decision for me by this Wednesday… keep your fingers crossed!!
