Becoming Thin… And Staying That Way

My Life Before, During & After Weight Loss Surgery

I went ahead and made an appointment with a psychologist. It is next Wednesday… even though everyone says it will be easy, I still find myself getting “psyched-out” about it (pun intended). heheh

Anyway… I just feel like this person has the ability to control whether or not I am approved for the surgery. She doesn’t know me from Adam. Oh well, I’ll just hope for the best.

Ok… I think we’ve got the ball rolling with the insurance company, finally. Ruth from Dr. Wongsa’s office called me just now and said that my insurance called her Friday. They just needed one thing from her and for me to have a psych. eval. and that’s it…

Insurance Frustration…

I had my consultation with Dr. Wongsa 5 weeks ago. 4 weeks ago, they sent the pre-determination letter to my insurance (One Health Plan through New England Financial) On 3/13 (3 weeks ago), I was told by the insurance company that they had received the letter and they would put a “rush” on it. 2 weeks ago, they told me that they were reviewing it… then 1 week ago, they told me they had faxed Dr. wongsa’s office on 3/22 and hadn’t heard back yet.

I feel like I’m getting the run-around… I’ve left a message with the dr’s office to see if they can check on it too…
